I am selling my 1997 Tacoma pickup; it has a 2.7 four cylinder engine and 5speed manual transmission. It is a very tight clean truck with tons of upgrades. I have had this truck since 2012 and since than I have totally repainted it; put a custom ARB bumper on; built a custom flatbed with headache rack and bumper. With in the last two years I have put in a total custom exhaust system starting with a header in to a cat with a life time warranty than through a 50 mm flow master muffler with 2 1/4 inch heavy wall pipe between. In the front end I replaced all four ball joints. New shocks and struts with a one inch lift and new wheel barings and brakes and rebushed the steering rack. On the rear end I put new brakes in and added a leaf spring to the leaf spring pack to give it a bit more lift and to help with bigger loads and spring life. Also I put in a K&N cool air intake and new belts. I change the oil every 4000 miles with valvoline extended life synthetic oil and new filter. I have changed the fluid in the front end tranny transfer case and rear end at least twice since I've owned it and also done several coolant flushes. I put in new plugs and wires twice since 2012 I think I put in Bosch double platinum plugs.A/C works great I put in a JVC stereo with CD player it can also play off of USB and Bluetooth. The tires are over 50%. I think I got them a year and a half ago. I can check. They are 31-10.5-15 GoodYear dura treks. I have all the receits for parts and work that has been done. I run only premium gas as much as I can.
I don't thing you will find a more well maintained truck. I would take off today and drive across the US with no worries of break downs. I think it has many miles left in it. I'm selling it because I bought a bigger truck and I want to buy a car for my wife. I'm asking $7400
