1982 Mercedes Benz W123 Coupe
This one has been taken care of with lots of upgrades to make it a daily driver.
This is a Texas car, with little to no signs of rust... anywhere.
Secondly, this car has an AC upgrade to make the air blow so cold, you won't want it blowing on your hand when you drive. AC was always a problem for these cars. Even when the factory system worked perfectly, it never blew cold enough for Texas summers. This car does.
The seats were reupholstered some time back. They're not mint, but they look good with no holes or tears in them. It's the Mercedes replacement seat covers so everything matches. I believe its called MB-tex.
The engine runs super strong. If you're not careful, you will squeek the tires. The car does not smoke.
These cars always had faulty odometers. This car is not exception. It died at 53,216.
The regular mechanic tells me that he swears the engine's been rebuilt because it's too tight and the entire engine block is painted silver, which could only be done if the engine was out. I cannot confirm or deny the rebuild. I only know that I have had about 6 of these cars, and this engine is the tightest, by far.
It's a turbo diesel, and therefore, supposed to use oil, but this thing just doesn't use much of any between oil changes.

Most of the wood trim has been refinished.
The car is not perfect, though it has been my daily driver.
1). It needs a steering box, which can be bought from multiple sources online for under $300.00. It doesn't bother me, so I haven't replaced it.
2). Once and a while the transmission flares between 3rd and 4th gear. It's done that since I got it over 2 years ago.
3). There is a vibration when turning right, from a stop, during hard acceleration.
