1971 Ford Pinto Runabout
1971 Ford Pinto Runabout model in excellent condition!
Everybody loves this car, and pictures do not really do it justice! It is a 1971 Ford Pinto Runabout that has been fully restored, and just brings a smile to everybody's face. The Paint job is very nice overall - minor chips. Has had Custom Racing stripes added and with the combination of the Wheels and Tires, she definitely has a great look! The entire Body is in good shape and rust-free as well. The Floorboards are in good shape too.
Has a Pinto Steering Wheel, and also have a Maverick Steering Wheel to go with it too. Runs very well and drives great for a 4-Cylinder Classic. (not a 'Muscle Car' whatsoever). Manual steering that steers easily. Nice Aluminum Wheels with Staggered set-up (larger 16-inch Wheels in the rear and 15-inch in front) for a great stance. The Engine Bay compartment is very clean. The Bumpers have some pitting on them, but are in good shape considering the age of the car. Automatic transmission and the Rear Differential seem fine. Disc brakes in front and Drums in the rear. In good shape both within and out as well!

Note. As a result of explosions in Rearend collisions involving Pintos, Ford issued a Safety Recall in 1978 which had been completed. Each Pinto model received a brand new Fuel Tank Filler neck that extended deeper into the Gas tank, and had been more resistant to breaking off in a Rearend collision. A Plastic shield had also been installed between the Rear Differential and the Fuel tank, as well as another to Deflect contact with the right-rear Shock Absorber too...!
This is a must see American Classic and everything within works well
