1963 Chevrolet Impala
PRICED TO SELL!
4 door chop top
Here is a video of the car walking around it httpsyoutu.bec1SfZJ1ubxQ
It runs and drives reliably brakes good, has a great stereo (with new speakers and two subs installed), has all the necessary requirements to pass inspection, and definitely gets a lot of attention when I drive it. This is by no means a collector car as it only has a straight 6 and is a 4 door, but as you can see the handles are shaved and driving it has more than enough horsepower to get around Austin. I spent all day last week running errands and taking pictures of the car to show it can handle all day trips.
I've done a lot to this car over the months, so I will mention a couple things that could be repaired if wanted as well as what I've done to the car that cannot be seen from the pics.
What I've done
Touched up on interior paint
Installed quality stereo. 6inch in front, 6x9 in back. Separate sub and speaker amps in back. Comes with 2 12inch subs
Replaced drivers rear brake cylinder. Have passenger rear brake cylinder
Rear springs replaced
Electronic distributer Ignition system. New coil, new distributer, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs
Steering wheel refurbished
Rear Shocks replaced. Have front shocks to go with the car.
Window gaps covered by upholstery. Prevents water from getting in the doors and finished the trim
0 and 4 gauge wire running to trunk for dual battery setup.
Fixed front seat adjustment lever.
Aluminium radiator and two aluminium coolers for the transmission to take on the Texas heat
New Carburator (have the old one as well)
What could be fixed
Needs a longer speedometer cable as the one installed is too short
The driver rear door is a little hard to open, but it can still be opened
The interior would need carpeting if you would want that
No roof. It is a chop top
No rear view mirrors, I just look around since it was so open. I also notice people on the highway give you a lot of room to switch lanes no matter how crowded it is
Tank gauge is about a quarter off (when it is full it is about a quarter past F)
There is a small exhaust leak coming from the manifold
Otherwise it's definitely ready to drive! I also have a bunch of parts I didn't install that would be included like front disc brake conversion, window roll handles, etc..
Once I have your information I will try to give you a call or text sometime so we can talk about the car. I will also send a picture of it cold starting.
Vehicle is located in Austin, TX.
